Comment Policy
1. Rude or abusive behaviour toward me and especially toward my other readers will not be tolerated. Comments that I deem to be abusive or inappropriate will be deleted.
2. Spam will not be tolerated. It will be deleted.
3. Relevant links in the comments are welcome - so long as they add to the conversation - links that appear 'spammy' may be deleted at my discretion.
4. Signatures will be allowed in the comments provided that they are not 'spammy' in nature. If you have something relevant to add and you feel that your signature adds to the discussion, go ahead and use it.
5. While I try not to be heavy handed, I do reserve the right to moderate (delete) any and all comments whether or not they meet the above criteria.
And finally, as Darren Rowse of problogger.net put it so well, "My advice to those commenting on blogs (not just mine) is that in a sense you’re visiting someone else’s home when you leave a comment. Comments have the ability to build up or tear down your reputation. They are a permanent record of who you are and what you stand for - so take care - be gracious - make sure they add value (not only to the blog you’re visiting but also to your own online profile)."
